KAPOLEI
Surplus food goes out today

Advertiser Staff

Distribution of surplus cornflakes, cranberry juice, macaroni and tomato sauce takes place from 9 a.m. to noon today at the Kapolei Shopping Center Pizza Hut parking lot, the Nanakuli Butler Building and the Leeward District Center on Farrington Highway in Wai-'anae.

Recipients must bring a picture ID and sign a declaration of eligibility saying that they meet gross household income standards that make them eligible to receive surplus food. A family of four, for instance, cannot take in more than $35,625 annually or $2,969 a month.

Recipients are also asked to bring their own bags or boxes.
