Fair weather expected throughout three-day weekend

A high pressure area far north of the state will produce typical trade wind weather through Monday, with low clouds and showers favoring windward and mauka areas, according to the National Weather Service.

Trade winds are expected to be at their strongest tonight through tomorrow night, forecasters said.

Here's a more detailed look at what to expect during the three-day weekend:

Today, mostly sunny with isolated showers. Highs 76 to 83. East winds 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 64 to 72. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tomorrow, mostly sunny with isolated showers. Breezy. Highs 77 to 82. East winds 10 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tomorrow night, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Breezy. Lows 64 to 70. Northeast winds 10 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
