Kaua'i man charged with attempted murder

LIHU'E — A Kilauea man was charged today with attempted second-degree murder in connection with a early-morning stabbing Saturday in Moloa'a.Benjamin Todd Beaty, 42, was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
A 40-year-old Kilauea man, who was stabbed at 2:15 a.m. Saturday, was medevaced to The Queen's Medical Center in critical condition.
