Strong trade winds to boost surf along east-facing shores

Advertiser Staff

Surf along north-facing shores will be 6 to 8 feet throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service.

The surf is expected to hit 4 to 6 feet along west-facing shores; 4 to 7 feet along east-facing shores, and 1 to 3 feet along south-facing shores.

Stronger trade winds will increase surf heights along east-facing shores to near the high-surf advisory threshold later today and early tonight.
