Hilo's Kapi'olani St. will alter traffic pattern for Easter

Because of Easter season activities at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Hilo, a temporary one-way traffic pattern will be in effect on Kapi'olani Street from April 6 through April 8.The one-way pattern will be in effect from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Good Friday, April 6; from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. April 7; and 5 a.m. to 2 p.m on Easter Sunday, April 8.
Traffic will be allowed only in the Puna, or southerly, direction on Kapi'olani Street between Waianuenue Avenue and Haili Street during those hours.
During those times, parking will be allowed on both sides of Kapi'olani Street.
