Identity-theft charges for man with stolen credit cards

A 28-year-old man was charged Saturday for offenses related to an identity theft case involving three victims.

Police said Kimo Leopoldo was arrested Thursday morning in possession of three credit cards belonging to a man and two women.

He was charged with credit card theft and three counts of unauthorized possession of confidential information.

Leopoldo, who has nine convictions, according to Hawai'i Criminal Justice Data Center records, was being held in lieu of $35,000 bail.
