Aloha Festivals seeks 2007 Royal Court applicants to portray the ancient ali'i and serve as cultural representatives from May 2007 through May 2008, especially during September and October, and to be available to travel to Neighbor Islands during the Aloha Festivals celebrations. Applicants for the volunteer positions of Mo'i Kane (King) and Mo'i Wahine (Queen) must be at least 30 years old and of Hawaiian ancestry; applicants for the prince and princess must be Hawaiians, 16-20 years old. Kumu Kahua Theatre auditions for the May production of Anthony Oliver's "Teacher, Teacher," 6-9 p.m. today, at the theater. Roles available for two local Asian females, early 30s-40s, and two local males, late teens to early 20s. Auditions will consist of cold reading from the script plus some improv and movement work. 536-4222.

Diamond Head Theatre auditions for the May 18-June 3 production of the musical "Gigi," 7 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and April 1, at the theater's rehearsal hall.
