California firm sells Hawai'i-based call center

Advertiser Staff

Trycera Financial Inc., a Irvine, California company, has sold its Hawai'i-based call center to a Honolulu-based firm. Terms of the sale weren't disclosed.

"While we greatly enjoyed both the strategic fit of our Hawaiian call center operations and the accompanying relationship with the Hawaiian Visitors Bureau in support of the State of Hawaii's tourism initiatives, we felt that the time was right to sell this non-core asset and further intensify our focus on accelerating rapid growth initiatives in the stored value and prepaid card sectors," Trycera Chief Financial Officer Bryan Kenyon said in a news release.

The call center, operated under the isleCore Systems Inc. name, provides call service for the Hawai'i Visitors and Convention Bureau.

Other clients include county visitor associations, as well as Castle Resorts & Hotels, Hawaiian Host and a couple of Mainland clients, according to isleCore's Web site.
