Man killed in catamaran accident identified as father of three

A 48-year-old man who died in a catamaran accident yesterday in waters off the coast of Kahana on Maui has been identified as Hal Pulfer of Highland Park, Ill.

Maui County officials said Pulfer was visiting Maui with his wife and three children ages 7, 10 and 12. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.
