'I Love Kailua' party set for April 29

The Lani-Kailua Outdoor Circle will present its 15th annual "I Love Kailua" Town Party from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 29 on Kailua Road by the Kailua Shopping Center.The event, supported by Kane'ohe Ranch Co. Ltd., includes "The Taste of Kailua," live entertainment, art in the park, handmade crafts, a plant sale, keiki rides, activities, community information booths and free health screenings from Castle Medical Center.
Funds raised at the event will go toward replanting trees along the Mokapu Road corridor that were damaged by insects. Past events have funded beautification projects in Kailua.
To enter purchase a $3 button at any of the 30 Kailua participating stores. Children under 12 are free.
