Surf drops as trade winds dwindle

Diminishing trade winds today and tonight will bring the rought surf along eastern shores down a notch, the National Weather Service said. The next swell isn't expected in until Thursday.Today's forecast calls surf 4 to 7 feet along eastern shores, but condtions will continue to be rough.
The North Shore will see surf 2 to 4 feet, while western and southern shores will see surf 1 to 3 feet.
