Wednesday's high school baseball: Punahou wins

Reece Kiriu scattered seven hits and Punahou scored the go-ahead run in the top of the sixth inning to beat Pac-Five, 3-2, in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu game at Ala Wai Field.

The Buffanblu improved to 6-0. The Wolfpack dropped to 0-5.

OIA EAST

KAISER 22, FARRINGTON 1

Cal Tashiro hit a grand slam in the bottom of the third and the host Cougars (3-0) routed the Governors (0-2).

KALANI 10, KALAHEO 0

Ridge Carpenter drove in two runs with a triple and a double and the Falcons (1-1) routed the Mustangs (0-3) at Kahala field.

CASTLE 20, KAIMUKI 0

Kainoa Tom hit a three-run homer in the third inning, and Kodey Cabael fired a two-hitter with five strikeouts as the host Knights (1-0-1) beat the Bulldogs (0-3).

ROOSEVELT 8, MCKINLEY 2

Keoni Manago hit a solo homer in the second inning, and Nick Wong struck out eight batters as the Rough Riders (1-1-1) beat the Tigers (0-2) at Stevenson Intermediate field.

OIA WEST

PEARL CITY 24, WAIALUA 0

Chad Quillopo had a pair of triples and drove in five runs to lead the host Chargers (3-0) past the Bulldogs (1-1).

LEILEHUA 12, NANAKULI 0

Brett Nakasone went 3 for 3 to lead the Mules (2-1) over the Golden Hawks (0-3) at Fred Wright field. Nakasone combined with Jayson Cabalce for the two-hit shutout.

MILILANI 17, RADFORD 0

Joey Aquino fired a one-hitter with nine strikeouts as the host Trojans (3-0) blanked the Rams (0-3).

KAPOLEI 6, WAIANAE 3

Kalani Brackenridge went 3 for 4 and the visiting Hurricanes (2-1) topped the Seariders (1-1).

CAMPBELL 10, WAIPAHU 0

Allyn Oliva-Respicio and Sebastian Locquiao combined on a four-hitter as the host Sabers (1-2) routed the Marauders (0-3).
