Iolani softball coach Shimabukuro resigns

'Iolani School softball coach Chris Shimabukuro has stepped down after nine years. In his tenure, 'Iolani won three Interscholastic League of Honolulu championships and two state titles.No reason was given for his resignation.
"I am grateful for the opportunity that 'Iolani School gave me and I have enjoyed the experience very much," Shimabukuro said in a press release. "It is time to give someone else this wonderful opportunity."
