Light winds accompany sunny days, rainy nights

Light winds, both on-shore and off-shore, will continue throughout the week as a low-pressure trough lingers near the island chain, according to the National Weather Service.Clouds and showers are expected mainly during afternoon and evening hours.
Some of those showers may be locally heavy.

Today: partly sunny. Isolated showers in the afternoon. Locally heavy rainfall possible in the afternoon. Highs 78 to 83. North winds around 10 mph shifting to the south in the afternoon. Chance of rain 20 percent.
Tonight: mostly cloudy with isolated showers in the evening. Then mostly clear after midnight. Locally heavy rainfall possible in the evening. Lows 61 to 69. North winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
Thursday: sunny in the morning, then partly sunny with isolated showers in the afternoon. Locally heavy rainfall possible in the afternoon. Highs 77 to 82. Northeast winds around 10 mph in the morning becoming light. Chance of rain 20 percent.
