KALAELOA
Surfwear sale helps Thai kids

Advertiser Staff

A sale of sample surfwear from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Barbers Point Elementary School aims to raise money for an international organization that rescues sexually abused, abandoned and orphaned children.

Members of the Awana Club at Hope Chapel Kapolei are holding the sale. Admission is $3.

The latest active-wear fashions from major surf companies will be on sale.

Les and Lynne Ginoza, a Hawai'i couple, are working with Zoe International, which has established children's homes as safe havens for Thai kids at risk of being sold into slavery or prostitution.
