Cosmopolitan magazine is looking for a few good bachelors ... again.

For the second year in a row, the magazine that gave the world monthly sex tests and a barenaked Burt Reynolds on bearskin is conducting a state-by-state search for the country's 50 hottest single men.

A panel of experts at Cosmo will choose one bachelor from each state as that locale's male representation of all things hot. The one dude out of all 50 unmarried and unattached males agreed upon as the hottest?

He gets to be Cosmopolitan's 2007 Bachelor of the Year! (Insert randy cheers here.)

2006's Hawai'i Cosmo bachelor was then 33-year-old Kapa'a chiropractor Ryan Smith whose "stay-on-his-mind move" for his ideal woman was: "While we're kissing, nibble my lower lip a bit. It's passionate."

Smith didn't take home Bachelor of the Year honors. But 25-year-old Colorado computer programmer Matt Wood did. And really, how could Wood not steal the judges' collective hearts with this kind of honest observation of "puzzling babe behavior": "I don't get why girls go to the bathroom in groups."

Swoon!

Got a man for Cosmo? Log on to www.cosmopolitan.com/bachelors for more nomination information.

Warning! You'll also need to submit one "head and shoulders" photo and one "full body" photo of your nominee. Shirtless pics get "bonus points," assures Cosmo.

Be assured I'm not making any of this up.
