Drum festival features Endo

An old-style drum festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 7 at Hawaii's Plantation Village on Waipahu Street.

The Kenny Endo Taiko Ensemble will be the featured group taking the outdoor stage at noon.

There will be other percussion performances and bon dance workshops by cultural groups throughout the day at the village social hall. There will also be food displays, as well as activities and crafts for keiki.

Admission is $4 for kama'aina and military, $7 for general admission. Children under 12, as well as plantation village members, are free.
