Bank of Hawaii has awarded a $100,000 grant to Catholic Charities Hawai'i to support its capital campaign for a new facility.

"This grant will greatly impact the success of the capital campaign to establish a permanent home at the Makiki campus property," said Jerry Rauckhorst, Catholic Charities Hawai'i chief executive officer.

The move to one campus location will enable Catholic Charities Hawai'i to improve and expand its services that it offers to the community regardless of faith.

Allan R. Landon, Bank of Hawaii chairman and chief executive officer said, "Catholic Charities Hawai'i has been serving people of all faiths and cultures for 60 years. We are proud to support the acquisition and renovation of their new community-based campus that will allow them to consolidate their programs and better serve the needs of Hawai'i's people."

Through more 30 programs statewide, Catholic Charities Hawai'i provides help to over 27,000 people in need each year.
