Loree Rodkin opens first U.S. store at Ala Moana

News Release

Loree Rodkin, known internationally for her nonconformist jewelry, is slated to open her first American flagship store at Ala Moana Center this June. Until now, her collections have been available only at Neiman Marcus and boutiques in Japan, as well as selected shops in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Milan, Russia and St. Barts.

"Hawai'i has always been one of my favorite relaxation destinations," Rodkin says. "I try to spend as much time as possible there. Having the opportunity to work and play in the same location seemed ideal."

Rodkin's jewelry collections are immediately recognizable by their modern-meets-medieval, romantic-meets-Goth designs. Old world artisans handcraft, engrave and embellish each platinum, gold or silver piece. She has counted Madonna, Cher and Steven Tyler as customers, and Mary J. Blige wore Loree Rodkin jewelry at a recent Grammy appearance.

The Loree Rodkin boutique at Ala Moana Center will be the first U.S. location to carry the couture silver collection. And the new store will have glass archways embellished with Loree Rodkin's gothic logo, cream leathers, dark woods, midnight blue mosaic tiles and handmade over-sized chandeliers illuminating the jewels.
