Computer Doctor Hawaii opens store at Navy Exchange

News Release

Computer Doctor Hawaii will open a new store on Monday at the Navy Exchange (NEX) near Pearl Harbor, 4725 Bougainville Drive.

The store will be located inside the NEX in the store's electronics department. Computer Doctor provides computer and printer repair and maintenance services, which includes data recovery and transfer. Computer Doctor also provides plotter repair and serves most of the companies using plotters in Honolulu.

The company's main store is at 1130 N Nimitz Highway.

"I believe our success thus far is a result of two core beliefs: First, people need their machines working immediately and, second, the data on their computers is valuable and must be protected," Computer Doctor General Manager Chris Correa said in a news release.

"We have a large number of military customers already and provided services especially for them, including filling out insurance claims for those whose computers are damaged in transit to Hawaii. We think we will be better able to serve Hawaii's military families from our Pearl Harbor NEX location."

Bud Challenger, a co-founder of Computer Doctor noted, "Unlike most computer repair businesses, Computer Doctor Hawaii was not founded by computer technicians. Computer Doctor was started by computer users and business people so frustrated by their experiences with computer repair services they were determined to prove there was a better way."
