McLachlin shoots 70, makes cut in PGA's Houston Open

Punahou alum Parker McLachlin shot a 2-under-par 70 today and made the cut for the weekend at the PGA Tour's Houston Open.

McLachlin, a PGA Tour rookie, was at even-par 144 after two rounds. The cut was 1-over

Bob Estes (71), Jason Gore (68) D.J. Brigman (68), Bubba Watson (67), Stuart Appleby (72) and Jeff Maggert (71) were the leaders at 6-under 138. Three golfers were a shot back and five are two shots back.
