Saturday's high school baseball: Aiea wins

Randy Castillo hit a grand slam and teamed with two relievers on a three-hitter as Aiea routed host Waialua, 16-2, Saturday in an O'ahu Interscholastic Association Western Division baseball game.

Kanekoa Asing added a three-run homer and had four RBIs, and Ryan Murakami batted 3-for-3 with a homer and three RBIs in support of winning pitcher Castillo, who struck out seven batters. 'Aiea improved to 3-0; Waialua dropped to 1-2.

WAIANAE 10, WAIPAHU 3

Ben McQuown and Will Duseigneur teamed for five hits and seven RBIs as the Seariders (2-1) beat the host Marauders (0-4).

PEARL CITY 21, NANAKULI 0

Cory Yuh fired a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts, Ryne Acosta drove in four runs, and Jeff Domingo went 4-for-4 with three RBIs as the Chargers (4-0) beat the host Golden Hawks (0-4).

MILILANI 14, KAPOLEI 2

Richie Mariano pitched a three-hitter and Kelen Cadiam, Travis Jones and John Abreu each had two RBIs as the Trojans (4-0) defeated the host Hurricanes (2-2).

LEILEHUA 10, RADFORD 0

Desmond Ontai teamed with two relievers on a two-hitter with five strikeouts, and he helped himself with two RBIs, as the Mules (3-1) beat the host Rams (0-4).

CASTLE 5, McKINLEY 3

Pulama Silva and Kainoa Tom had two hits apiece, and the Knights (2-0-1) erased a 2-0 deficit by scoring three runs in the top of the sixth inning to defeat the host Tigers (0-3).

KALANI 12, KAIMUKI 0

Shamus Kumashiro fired a two-hitter with 12 strikeouts and had his perfect game snapped in the bottom of the fourth inning with two outs as the Falcons (2-1) blanked the host Bulldogs (0-4).

KAILUA 10, KALAHEO 0

Kili Vierra pitched a three-hitter, and Zach Akamine, Kale Sumner, Keenan Tanaka, Ryan Kinoshita and Jared Iha each had two hits as the Surfriders (4-0) beat the Mustangs (0-4) at Kailua Recreation Center field.

MOANALUA 23, FARRINGTON 2

Ethan Isobe drove in three runs and Na Menehune (3-0) had 23 hits as they routed the Governors (0-3) at Joey DeSa Field.

IOLANI 9, SAINT LOUIS 8

Case Miyahira singled in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning, and Reyn Nagamine blasted a two-run home run in the sixth inning as the host Raiders (5-2) rallied to beat the Crusaders (1-6).

DAMIEN 3, MID-PACIFIC 2

Duncan Ebert pitched a seven-hitter and Travis Derby batted 2-for-4 as the Monarchs (3-4) held off the Owls (5-2) at 'Iolani.

KAMEHAMEHA 12, PAC-FIVE 8

Ashkon Kuhaulua batted 3-for-3 and drove in three runs, and the Warriors (4-3) scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth to beat the Wolfpack (0-7) at 'Iolani.
