New Kaua'i bus stops, routes begin Monday

Kaua'i County is expanding its public bus service starting Monday.

Based on community feedback, The Kaua'i Bus will operate on an expanded schedule with new routes and stops, said Janine Rapozo, acting director of the Offices of Community Assistance.

New bus stops will be added at Vidinha Stadium, Kaua'i War Memorial Convention Hall and the Kilauea Neighborhood Center.

Regular hourly service on weekdays will be offered at routes including: Kekaha to Lihu'e, Lihu'e to Kapa'a, and the Lihu'e-Airport-Courthouse shuttle.

Fares are $1.50 for adults and 75 cents for youths and seniors. For more information, call (808) 241-6410.
