North Shore surf falling, but still running 6 to 8 feet

Advertiser Staff

Surf along north-facing shores is on the way down but still will be 6 to 8 feet today, according to the National Weather Service.

Waves along west-facing shores will be 2 to 4 feet.

Surf of 1 to 3 feet is expected along east-facing shores but could hit 3 to 5 feet along exposed northeast-facing shores.

Surf along south-facing shores will be 1 to 3 feet.

The north swell will decrease through the weekend. A moderate northwest swell is due in Wednesday, but will likely bring surf below the 15-foot advisory level.
