There are ample photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny today as he hops by several events around town gearing up for his big holiday next weekend.

The kiddies can catch a glimpse, and score some Easter eggs, at the Waikiki Aquarium's Easter Sea Hunt starting at 9 this morning.

Kids can create crafts at the aquarium's education craft booth, fish for prizes at the fishing pond and, of course, pose for photos with the big furry rabbit.

The aquarium's lawn will be transformed into prime Easter egg hunting ground, and organizers promise equal chances for the kids — infant to age 7 — to scout out baskets full.

Of course, the aquarium's many exhibits and galleries are sure to keep kids busy for most of the morning as well.

"Come check out our marine life and take a picture with the Easter Bunny while you're here," said Tammy Chun, director of development at the aquarium.

"This is our 12th year and it has become increasingly popular," Chun said.

The Waikiki Aquarium, the third oldest public aquarium in the United States, is home to more than 420 species of aquatic animals and plants.

Proceeds from the Easter Sea Hunt will benefit the many programs at the aquarium.

Space is limited, so hurry down.
