BIIF basketball tournaments start tonight

The Big Island Interscholastic Federation Division I and Division II girls basketball tournaments start with first-round action tonight.In Division I, sixth-seeded Kealakehe (4-8) will play at third-seeded and seventh-ranked Honoka'a (10-2) and fifth-seeded Kea'au (6-6) plays at fourth-seeded Waiakea (8-4).
In Division II, sixth-seeded Pahoa (1-11) plays at third-seeded Kohala (5-7) and fifth-seeded Parker (2-10) plays at fourth-seeded Ka'u (3-9).
All games will begin at 7 p.m. tonight.
All semifinal and championship games for both divisions will be held at Konawaena on Friday and Saturday.
Regular-season champions Konawaena (Division I, 12-0), ranked first, and Kamehameha Hawai'i (Division II, 10-2) have already claimed one of the league's two state berths.
