Cinco De Mayo fest will shut some downtown streets

Several downtown Honolulu streets will shut down Saturday for the annual Cinco De Mayo Festival.The festival runs from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. During the event, Nu'uanu Avenue, from King Street to Nimitz Highway, will be closed, along with Merchant Street from Nu'uanu Avenue to Bethel Street, and Marin Lane. Some 3,000 people are expected to attend.
