SALT LAKE
 Work to close Pu'uloa lanes

State transportation officials will begin a modified traffic pattern today on Pu'uloa Road in which traffic will be diverted from the east-side lanes to the newly resurfaced west-side lanes to allow work crews to continue pavement-resurfacing work.

Various single-lane closures on Pu'uloa Road are also scheduled through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Salt Lake Boulevard and Nimitz Highway intersections for road striping.

  • Partial single right-turn lane closure from Pu'uloa Road to Salt Lake Boulevard for utility line splicing.

  • Single-lane closure near Kilihau Street for utility manhole construction.
