PUHI
Kalamaku show at Kilohana

Advertiser Staff

A new lu'au facility at Kilohana Plantation in Puhi, which will seat up to 900 people, opened Friday.

The site, under a vast permanent tent structure, is a joint project of NCL America, Kilohana Plantation and NH Productions, which is producing a new Polynesian show, Lu'au Kalamaku.

"This production celebrates the inner fire and determination of ancient people who endured the separation of time and the great unknown during early migration," said show producer Haunani Marston.

The Kilohana Plantation Railway, with a two-mile agricultural rail tour, also recently opened at the Kilohana facility.
