Placement examinations for youths wishing to take swim lessons this summer at the Leeward YMCA will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, 10 a.m. to noon May 12 and 6 to 8 p.m. May 16.

Youth classes are for those ages 3 to 13, from June 11 to Aug. 5. Classes meet for 45 minutes once a week for eight weeks. Cost is $96. Children do not have to be YMCA members.

Registration for those in the Y's spring swimming program is from May 21 to May 27.

General registration is from May 30 to June 11.

Classes are also available during the same period for adults as well as parents and toddlers, ages 6 months to 36 months. Call 671-6495.
