Haagen-Dazs rolls out Hawaiian Lehua Honey ice cream

Advertiser Staff

Haagen-Dazs is including a bit of aloha as it rolls out its new line of superpremium products under the Haagen-Dazs Reserve name.

Among the six flavors being debuted in select stores are "Hawaiian Lehua Honey and Sweet Cream Ice Cream," something Haagen-Dazs said was selected after the company combed the world for ingredients.

It describes the Hawai'i-inspired flavor as "A rich sweet cream ice cream blended with Hawaiian Lehua honey. The Lehua blossom imparts a subtle floral note to the ice cream, which is complemented by the sweet cream."

The company said the Reserve line was released in a limited number of markets in March, including stores in Hawai'i. It also is on sale on the company's Web site.
