Man, 54, charged with enticement of a child

A 54-year-old Kapolei man was charged today with first-degree electronic enticement of a child.

Daryl G. Lee will make his initial appearance at District Court tomorrow. A preliminary hearing date will be set but state prosecutors will likely seek an indictment to supersede it.

Lee was released today after posting $40,000 bail.

Lee was arrested Monday at the Kewalo Marine Lab, at 41 Ahui St., by officers of the Internet Crimes Against Children joint task force after he showed up at an agreed-upon meeting place to allegedly meet a juvenile for sex.

The appointment was made on a computer, prosecutors said.
