A 54-year-old Kapolei man was arrested in Kaka'ako yesterday morning after he allegedly used a personal computer to make arrangements to have sex with a person he thought was a juvenile girl.

When he showed up at the agreed-upon meeting place, police were waiting and arrested the man on suspicion of electronic enticement of a child.

Traffic stop leads to multiple felony arrest

A 23-year-old Kalihi man was arrested late last night on suspicion of multiple felony offenses after a police officer pulled him over in the east-bound lanes of H-1 Freeway near the Likelike Highway off-ramp to issue a speeding citation.

Police said the officer learned the car had been reported stolen, so the driver was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle about 11:45 p.m.

When a credit card in the name of a 30-year-old woman was found on the driver, he was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized control of confidential personal information, police said.

And when the officer learned the man was also wanted in connection with a domestic violence incident, he arrested the driver on suspicion of felony abuse of a household member.
