No ID yet on recovered body of scuba diver off Big Isle

The body of a 45-year-old scuba diver who had been reported missing Tuesday after diving for aquarium fish off the Ka'u area of the Big Island was recovered yesterday afternoon.The Hawai'i County Fire Department issued a release at 2:07 a.m. today saying his body was recovered approximately 200 yards offshore of Pohue Bay near Road to the Sea in rough seas.
His identity hasn't been released yet.
The diver had been reported missing by his diving partner after he failed to resurface to the Boston Whaler boat they were diving from.
The man's float buoy was located about about 1/4 mile south of the boat later Tuesday and an overnight search was issued by the Coast Guard and Hawai'i County Fire Department.
