South shores still the best bet for surf
Advertiser Staff
A storm southeast of New Zealand has generated southern swell that will bring surf to the 8-foot advisory threshold today. With trade winds dwindling, conditions should be better than yesterday. The rest of the surf forecast calls for surf along north shores to decrease to 3 feet to 6 feet and east- and west-facing shores to see surf 4 feet to 6 feet.
The south shore surf will slowly decline Friday and Saturday. The current moderate northwest swell will decline today, with a small northwest swell expected Sunday and Monday.
