Hard Rock clubs plan events

Advertiser Staff

The heat is on this weekend at the Hard Rock Cafe Maui and Honolulu.

The Maui club hosts "Hot Hawaiian Nights," from 6 p.m. tomorrow with Jerry "Pito" Javier, a firefighter, sharing songs from his debut CD, "Feels Like the First Time." Admission is free; all ages are welcome.

At the Waikiki restaurant Saturday, Heather Sanya, who is Mrs. Kilauea Honolulu in the 2007 Mrs. Hawaii contest, will appear in a fund-raiser for the American Cancer Society. Singer Yvette Nii and other local bands will perform, with a silent auction and complimentary spa treatments among the activities planned.

Call Hard Rock (955-7383 ) for details.
