HAAGEN-DAZS GOES HAWAIIAN

Haagen-Dazs is including a bit of aloha as it rolls out its new line of premium products under the Haagen-Dazs Reserve name.

Among the six flavors being debuted in select stores are "Hawaiian Lehua Honey and Sweet Cream Ice Cream," something Haagen-Dazs said was selected after it combed the world for ingredients.

It describes the Hawai'i-inspired flavor as "A rich sweet cream ice cream blended with Hawaiian lehua honey. The lehua blossom imparts a subtle floral note to the ice cream, which is complemented by the sweet cream."

The company said the Reserve line was released in a limited number of markets in March, including stores in Hawai'i.
