Magazine ranks Honolulu No. 7 arts destination

Readers of AmericanStyle magazine have named Honolulu as the No. 7 arts destination among mid-sized U.S. cities, a news release from the mayor's office said.The ranking is reported in the magazine's June issue, which reports on AmericanStyle's 10th annual reader poll on Top 25 Arts Destinations among large, mid-sized and small cities. The mid-sized cities have populations ranging from 100,000 to 499,999 residents.
Pittsburgh was ranked No. 1 in the mid-size division, followed by Albuquerque, N.M.; Las Vegas; Scottsdale, Ariz.; Atlanta, Ga.; New Orleans and Honolulu.
