St. Andrew's earns state basketball tournament berth

Minna Watanabe scored nine points and the St. Andrew's girls basketball team held off the La Pietra at 'Iolani to earn the third of four Interscholastic League of Honolulu's Division II state tournament berths with a 34-33 win on Friday.The game was tied 17-17 at halftime.
The Pride improve to 10-4.
The Panthers (9-5) were led by Megan Giles' 12 points. La Pietra will play in next week's ILH Division II tournament for the final berth.
