Dee White, who served three terms as president of the Ewa Beach Community Association, was given a KOA Award for individual community service yesterday.

Now an officer in the Ewa Beach Lions Club, she led activities like the community's Christmas parade, holiday food drives and Halloween Bash.

Others awarded Kapolei Outstanding Achievement awards, sponsored by Kapolei Property Development: 'Ewa Weed & Seed (organization community service); Kapolei High teacher Daryl Madela (education); Seagull Schools executive Chuck Larson (entrepreneur); and Grace Pacific Corp. (environment).
