Pearl City sweeps OIA judo titles

Pearl City's boys defeated Castle, 95-0, last night at 'Aiea to repeat as O'ahu Interscholastic Association judo champions.The Charger girls also won, beating McKinley, 55-37, in the title match.
"It's been a while since we swept," said Pearl City head coach Robyn Puahala. "The kids worked really hard all year long and they really came through."
Pearl City beat Moanalua, 47-45, in the semifinals while the Charger girls topped Kahuku, 53-40.
