Lunas defend MIL girls water polo title

The Lahainaluna High School girls water polo team defended its Maui Interscholastic League title with a 17-4 win over Baldwin at the Kihei Aquatic Center on Friday in the league's championship game.The Lunas (8-0) finish undefeated in the MIL for the second straight year and advance to its second state tournament. Mariah Gill, Moana Tuipulotu and Hailey Gill scored four goals apiece for Lahainaluna.
Baldwin's Sarah Jarvie-Grodan and Maris van der Lee each had two goals.
