Waialua students offer free concert Sunday

Band students from Waialua High and Intermediate School will entertain for free at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Waialua Bandstand.The Friends of Waialua Bandstand sponsors the event on the first Sunday of the month and encourages people to bring a picnic supper or pupu to enjoy during the entertainment.
The students have been providing entertainment for about three years, and under the direction of Robert Yu will demonstrate their skills with various instruments, said John Cutting, a member of the Friends.
The bandstand is in the heart of Waialua between the Waialua Shopping Center and the library.
