Middle Street off-ramp closed Sunday night, early Monday

Advertiser Staff

HONOLULU — The state Department of Transportation advises O'ahu motorists that the H-1 Freeway will be closed in the west-bound direction from the Middle Street off-ramp to the Keehi Interchange from 9 p.m. on Sunday night, May 6, to 4 a.m. Monday morning, May 7, to allow for lighting maintenance in the west-bound Middle Street tunnel.

Westbound H-1 motorists headed for the Honolulu International Airport are advised to use the Middle Street off-ramp, stay in the right lane and then turn left onto Middle Street and continue onto the H-1 Airport on-ramp at the Kamehameha Highway intersection.

Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for extra travel time.
