No hiker in distress found at Pacific Palisades

Fire rescue crews today checked on a report of a possible hiker in distress in the hills above Pacific Palisades but found nothing.The companies responded at 1:30 p.m. on what may have been a hoax, said HFD Capt. Terry Seelig.
