Odor will keep Kahuku school closed tomorrow, too

Kahuku High & Intermediate School will remain closed to students and staff tomorrow due to the continued presence of a pesticide odor, according to a Department of Education press release.The odor first entered the campus Thursday, sickening 13 students and two teachers with symptoms of nausea and throat irritation.The school was closed Friday, and no students were on campus today because of a previously scheduled teacher development day.
Activities scheduled on campus for tomorrow have been canceled. Off-campus functions will be held as scheduled.
