Library hosts gift craft classes

Advertiser Staff

Free craft classes in time for Mother's Day and graduation will show participants how to make bead earrings and flowers and lei with dollar bills at the Kahuku Public & School Library conference room this week.

A class on bead earrings with Erin Summerill is at 1 p.m. today. Participants will learn how to design jewelry for a Mother's Day gift. Supplies will be provided.

Eloise Tyau will conduct a class on how to turn dollar bills into flowers or a lei at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow. The rose and bud "flowers" have become popular graduation gifts. Participants should bring five crisp bills to make a rose and two bills to make a bud.
