Parking reopens on top floor of airport interisland lot

Advertiser Staff

The state Department of Transportation has reopened 300 stalls on the top floor of the interisland parking structure at Honolulu International Airport

The top floor of the parking garage had been closed to the public since January for resurfacing work.

Airport officials decided to schedule the four-month, $999,000 project between the end of the Christmas holiday season and the start of the summer travel season — Memorial Day weekend — to lessen inconvenience to the traveling public, DOT officials said in a news release issued this morning.
