Summer music telecast planned

"Heineken Hot Summer Nights," a summertime staple of K5, will launch at 7 p.m. May 25 on Channel 5, with telecasts from sites around Oahu, plus two from Maui.Shannon Scott, KCCN FM 100 air personality, will host the live hourlong shows most Fridays, between May 25 and July 27 . The Maui programs will be pre-taped, however. Repeat airings will be at 9:30 p.m. the first Saturday following the original telecast and at 8 p.m. the next Friday.

i June 1 — B.E.T., from the Mai Tai Bar.
i June 8 — Jerry "Pito" Javier, from the Hard Rock Cafe in Lahaina (taped May 4).
i June 15 – The Opihi Pickers and Kaipo, from Dave & Buster's.
i June 29 — KoaUka, from the Mai Tai Bar.
i July 13 — Natural Vibrations, from Hard Rock Cafe in Waikiki.
i July 20 — Mighty J, from Dave & Buster's.
i July 27 — Kohomua, from Lulu's in Kihei (taped May 6).
