No significant swells in the forecast

Advertiser Staff

Surf will be OK around the islands, but nothing too big, the National Weather Service said.

Today's forecast calls for surf to reach 4 to 6 feet along north shores, 2 to 3 feet along west shores, 3 to 5 feet along east shores and 2 to 4 feet along south shores.

Surf heights are forecast heights of the face or front of waves.

Some waves may be more than twice as high as the significant wave height.

Expect to encounter rip currents in or near any surf zone.
